... in the late 50’s

… in 1957, in the island of Evia a privately owned business under the personal guidance of Antonis Souliotis was founded. Its primal purpose was the production and distribution of traditional ready to eat meals, in the Greek and International markets. PALIRRIA S.A. remained a personal business, until 1982, when it takes a corporate form with the attendance of Antoni Souloitis’ sons Kosta and Vasili.
 

... a new dynamic

This corporate form gave Palirria a new dynamic that helped and rejuvenated its strategic moves, escalating the company as the leader in the Greek market. The first course of action begun in 1989 with the investment in modern and technologically advanced facilities and new offices, completed in 1992 with the transfer to our current location.


... the next advancement occurred in 1995
 
... when Palirria becomes the first ready-to-eat meals company in Greece that is certified with ISO and in 1998 it is again the first company to acquire the HACCP certification, followed by the Quality BRC and IFS certificates some years later.
 

... in 2000 a new renovation took place
 
... when PALIRRIA decides facility extensions beyond the borders of Greece resulting in the creation of an advanced, fully operational factory unit in Bulgaria under the name PALIRRIA Bulgaria L.t.d.
